In a heartfelt reflection marking his 13th anniversary in the entertainment industry, Alden Richards, the esteemed Kapuso actor, penned a poignant message of appreciation for the rollercoaster ride that has defined his career thus far. In a special gathering at the Stardust Bar and Restaurant in Makati City, Alden expressed gratitude for the diverse experiences—joyful and sorrowful, challenging and comforting—that have sculpted his journey.

“Dear Alden, in the past 13 years of your career, a tapestry of moments has woven itself together. There have been highs and lows, moments of pain but also solace. Above all, I am thankful for the wealth of knowledge that has enriched your path. Yet, our story isn’t concluded; there’s still much to learn. The road has been long, but there’s more distance to cover,” Alden shared in a heartfelt video message at his thanksgiving event.

Amidst his milestone, Alden shared glimpses and reflections on his trajectory in showbiz, teasing snippets of his upcoming film, “Family of Two,” where he stars alongside the illustrious Sharon Cuneta. Delving into his evolving role, he revealed his newfound joy in directing, a realm where his creative visions come to life.

“My every imagination found its form. Thirteen years have been ample for my creative musings. Through directing, these visions manifest,” he expressed with an air of fulfillment.

However, the celebration didn’t escape inquiries about his involvement in the recent split between Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. Swiftly debunking rumors about courting Kathryn, his former co-star in “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” Alden firmly stated his detachment from the speculated issues.

“That’s baseless. It’s not the truth. It feels like I’m being roped into an issue again to shoulder blame. I prefer to keep a low profile now, so there’s no truth to that,” Alden clarified with resolve, reaffirming his stance of non-involvement in others’ affairs.

Further commemorating his showbiz milestone, Alden partook in a mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Jeffrey B. Quintela, the Chief Exorcist of the Diocese of Antipolo City. Fr. Jeffrey, a friend of the actor for a decade, shed light on Alden’s prioritization of faith and family above career, emphasizing his role as a conduit of blessings to others.

“He places God and family above all else. That’s his life’s hierarchy. When you get to know him, he cherishes every relationship. He believes in being a channel of grace, attributing his success to this. His connection to God ensures an endless flow of grace to others,” Fr. Jeffrey elucidated, emphasizing Alden’s profound spiritual connection.

Amidst their bond, the priest expressed a singular wish for Alden: “My wish for him is simple: to remain a good person because that’s paramount. Careers fade, money dissipates, but one’s faith in God endures.”

Fr. Jeff shared insightful instances of their shared experiences, from blessing Alden’s home to supporting during moments when his fans encountered troubling possession, highlighting the depth of their association beyond the glitz of show business.

As Alden Richards commemorates 13 years in the spotlight, his journey resonates not just as a tale of fame but as a testament to resilience, faith, and the enduring spirit of gratitude—a saga that continues to unfold with each passing day.
