The PBB Kumunity winner said, after hitting the rock bottom, her latest comeback encapsulates the most valuable lesson she learned at the time: resilience in the face of adversity.

“Last year was not my greatest year. I was lost, but like a Phoenix, I burned into ashes, I rose from the ashes, and I shined bright,” Salvacion said.

“It’s not easy to be here. People think it is. It’s hard na gaano ka binastos ng ibang tao, sinaktan, you are still here, standing and fighting. I want that message to be conveyed to everyone,”

The Kapamilya singer said “Grit,” which officially launches on March 16, is similar to a book. “Every single song is a chapter. And I saw in the songs a person with indomitable spirit, a person who is not easily brought down or defeated. It also has angst,” she explained.
