Sinulog, one of the most vibrant and anticipated festivals in the Philippines, is set to take place in Cebu this January. The Sinulog Foundation Inc. has released the schedule of activities, promising an exciting lineup of events for locals and tourists alike.
Starting from December 1, 2023, until January 31, 2024, the Sinulog Street Fair will be held along Osmena Blvd, Fuente Osmena, and Plaza Independencia. On January 11, 2024, the festival kicks off with the Walk With Jesus, a procession from Basilica del Sto. Niño to Fuente Osmeña. The following day, January 12, marks the grand Sinulog parade.
Despite the challenges faced due to the pandemic, Cebu City remains committed to hosting Sinulog 2024 at the South Road Properties (SRP). The Sinulog Foundation Inc. assures everyone that the SRP will provide an optimal location for the festival’s primary events.
The Sinulog Festival is a celebration of faith, culture, and heritage, paying homage to the Señor Sto. Niño de Cebu. It showcases colorful street dances, mesmerizing performances, and a joyful atmosphere that captivates both locals and visitors.
